Proverbs 31:1-9
We live in a day where many believe that how one lives is not considered critical in their ability to be an effective leader. However, that has not always been the thinking in the past, and certainly not in the thinking of the wisdom literature. A person’s moral life has a huge impact on how they will govern others. It was Harry Ironside that related: “Harry Ironside rightly points out: “He who would rule well over a nation must first be master of himself.” We will be exploring some of the pitfalls and dangers that people should avoid in their lives to be effective parents, employers, and religious and political leaders and what the primary focus should be.
